The rules for storage systems seem to be constantly changing these days.
"Will the government inspectors tell me what I need to do to comply with the current applicable standards?" Simply put, probably not. Typically the government inspectors do not tell you how to comply, just that you must comply. How you do this is up to you. This is where SafeRack comes in.
SafeRack's mission is to elevate within the business community, through both users and manufacturers, the safety of storage systems, thereby preventing accidents and injuries. Education in the proper installation, use, and inspection and maintenance practices, for all those requiring these skills is our goal.
Our developemnet team of Senior Project Managers, Trainers, and Engineers from across North America, who together bring more than 100 years of combined experience, have developed the SafeRack Storage System Training Programs. The various programs began development in early 2005 becoming fully operational in Ontario in December 2006. Their backgrounds in rack design, installation and project management coupled with engineering experience in material handling systems along with professional affiliations such as the Rack Manufacturers Institute (RMI) and Canadian Standards Association (CSA), have helped us create practical, real world programs specifically designed to meet the challenges of industrial business owners everywhere.
